What happened 

A recent platform update introduced an inefficiency that caused certain background processes to run more often than intended. This increased load on our database and led to elevated system usage, which in turn caused performance slowdowns for some customers.

What we’re doing about it

We’ve taken steps to both resolve the immediate issue and reduce the likelihood of similar problems in the future:

• Enhancing our review process to identify inefficient system usage patterns earlier in development
• Expanding our end-to-end testing to include improved anomaly detection, helping us catch performance risks before they reach production
